The Carrie Chair, by New York Designer and Architectural Digest Hall of Fame inductee Mariette Himes Gomez, for Hickory Chair is decidedly 1940's English with its unique exposed wood handle built into the top rail. The handle makes it easy to pull the chair away from a dining table or desk. With its generous scale, upholstered back and arms and softly rounded legs, Carrie exemplifies great looks and comfort.
